Orthodontics for Growing Smiles

A clear read on growth, bite, spacing, habits, and the right time to start, monitor, or wait.

A growth check before any big decision

The first orthodontic visit is a checkup, not a commitment. We evaluate growth, bite, spacing, habits, and any x-rays needed so parents know whether to start, wait, monitor, or get a second opinion.

Complimentary growth check

Your child's first orthodontic visit is a no-pressure checkup with our specialist, including any x-rays needed to understand growth, bite, spacing, and tooth eruption.

Find out what, if anything, is needed

Some children benefit from early guidance. Many are best monitored until more adult teeth arrive. We explain what can wait, what should be watched, and what would truly help.

Second-opinion friendly

Parents often come to us simply seeking another opinion. That is perfectly ok. The goal is clarity, not pressure, so families can choose what feels right.

When should kids be checked?

Many children benefit from an orthodontic screening around age seven, even if the best plan is simply to monitor growth.

Does every child need an expander?

No. Expanders are useful only for selected space, bite, or jaw-width concerns where timing during growth can make future treatment simpler.

Can teens use clear aligners?

Sometimes. It depends on the bite, tooth movement, hygiene, and whether trays can be worn consistently.

What if we should wait?

Waiting can be a good plan. The team can monitor growth and recommend the right timing when treatment would be more helpful.

Age-seven screening

A first orthodontic visit does not mean starting braces. It gives parents a clear read on jaw growth, bite patterns, crowding, spacing, permanent tooth timing, and whether anything needs to be watched.

Growth, bite, and spacing review

Permanent tooth timing

Clear monitor-or-start guidance

Palatal expanders, explained

A palatal expander gently widens a narrow upper jaw while a child is still growing. When it is truly indicated, expansion can improve crossbite, create room for adult teeth, support healthier bite development, and sometimes reduce the chance that permanent teeth need to be removed later because there is not enough space.

Used only when growth timing helps

Can create space for adult teeth

Aims to prevent bigger future headaches

Braces and teen aligners

When treatment is the right step, braces and aligners are chosen around the bite, hygiene, sports, routines, confidence, and how reliably a child or teen can manage the plan.

Braces for reliable correction

Aligners when responsibility fits

Parent-friendly timelines
